If your thinking of getting a tattoo or looking for a tattoo shop in Colchester Essex you came to the right place… We have a private studio and also a walk in tattoo shop in Colchester town centre.
The first thing that you need to Decide on is what kind of tattoo you want.
After you’ve worked this part out, next you’l need to choose an artist.
Each of our artists has a page on this site. Use this link to scroll through all of our talented tattooists and check out their work.
Each page has a bio and links to their socials. Theres also all the info you need to get hold of them.

When you contact your artist of choice, its really helpful for us if you can specify a few things in your message, just to speed up the process…
- A rough idea of what you want tattooed
- Where on your body you would like to get the tattoo
- When were you hoping to come in?
- Include any photos of tattoos you like
Once your artist has agreed to the tattoo and you’ve both decided on a date, you will need to leave a deposit to secure your appointment. Deposits vary, but your artist will guide you through their process. Please note that deposits are non refundable. you can pay your deposit by cash if preferred at our walk in tattoo shop
On the day of your tattoo
Make sure you get a good nights sleep, drink lots of water so you’re well hydrated and finally eat a good breakfast!
Bring your ID with you.
If you’re lucky enough to look under 18 we will ask for it. If you dont have it we wont be able to do your tattoo and unfortunately… you will lose your deposit.
Bring drinks and snacks! if you want to bring an iPad or head phones too thats also fine. We want you to be as comfortable as possible.
If your particularly nervous you can bring somebody with you, but please no more than one person.
